22 Jun ARSENAL FEST 07 BEGINS TODAY!

Arsenal 07 starts tomorrow evening (June 22nd) with performances of Anthrax, Buzzcocks and other bands. Two more festival days (June 23rd and 24th) will feature numerous international, regional and domestic acts including Thievery Corporation, Skindred, Dub FX, Ana Popović and Darko Rundek.

Hard rock band Epilog has been honoured to open the first festival night on the Main Stage (June 22nd), that will also see performances of trash metal heavyweights Anthrax, Serbian hard rocker Kerber and Orthdodox Celts, a Serbian band famously dedicated to Irish music. Local instrumental band Fitnes, trash metal bands Alitor and Forever Storm as well as death metal group Dead Joker will join ranks with British punk rock legends Buzzcocks, Serbian band Ritam nereda and Slovenian group Elvis Jackson, playing on the Garden Stage.

Darko Rundek is coming to Kragujevac on June 23rd with a big backing band, on a tour called “Apocalypse Now” that celebrates 20 years of Rundek’s first solo album “Apocalypso”. He will perform the same night on the Main Stage as well as blues guitarist Ana Popović, eclectic Thievery Corporation and Serbian alternative rock band Repetitor, while Serbian folk metal sensation Pero Defformero, their Croatian colleagues, folk punkers Brkovi, cult Serbian band Bjesovi, witty rockers Zvoncekova bilježnica, stoner grungers Larska as well as two punk bands, Pankreas and Crveni karton will perform on the Garden Stage.

Serbian punk legends Goblins have been honoured to close Arsenal 07 in the early hours of the third festival night (June 24th), and they will play on the Garden Stage after cult Serbian band Kralj Čačka, Croatian alternative rock star Damir Urban, legendary Rambo Amadeus, punk bands Bolesna štenad, Špajz and Raskid 13, and gothic band Electro Vampires. The Main Stage will feature performances by supergroup Škrtice, Welsh metal-hiphopers Skindred, Australian sensation Dub FX and Serbian alternative group Kanda, Kodža i Nebojša featuring Horsman Coyote.

The festival also has a stage dedicated to electronic music – Explosive DJ Stage that will feature performances of renown DJ’s such as Mihai Popoviciu, Alexander Kowalski, Jeremy Refson a.k.a Jeremy Tsunami and Marky Z.

Arsenal Fest is an open air event, and is being held on three picturesque locations: Knežev arsenal (Main Stage – a former ammunition factory from 19th century), Zastavina bašta (Garden Stage – a colourful place full of greenery) and Čaurnice (Explosive DJ Stage – a rustic building that is set nearby).

The festival has a new stage this yeas – Demolition Stage – dedicated to up-and-coming bands/musicans from Serbia and region of former Yugoslavia. The visitors will see performers selected by radio Beograd 202, RTS’s TV show Bunt and portal www.noizz.rs.

Arsenal fest will be held on June 22nd, 23rd and 24th in Kragujevac. The ticket package (for all days of the festival) can be purchased for 2.300 RSD, and a single ticket for 1.300 RSD, via Eventim.

Tickets can also be bought at the festival entrance for 1.500 RDS (single ticket) and 2.300 RSD (ticket package).
