Darko Rundek, Repetitor, Goblini, Pero Defformero, Bjesovi, Epilog and others have complemented the line-up of bands and artists performing on Arsenal Fest’s Main and Garden Stage on June 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
Darko Rundek is coming to Kragujevac with a big backing band, on a tour that celebrates 20 years of Rundek’s first solo album “Apocalypso”.
“Viva Arsenal! This year I’m taking out the whole arsenal of music, songs, stage magic and great musicians, old and new – especially for your pleasure. We look forward to this new encounter, to dance “ApoCalypso Now” with you!”, says Rundek who will perfom on the Main Stage on June 23rd.
Hard rock band Epilog, having recently released their first album “Mora tempore”, have been honoured to open the first festival night on the Main Stage (June 22nd) that will see performances of trash metal heavyweights Anthrax, Serbian hard rockers Kerber and Orthodox Celts, a Serbian band famously dedicated to Irish music.
On the first night on the Garden, a local instrumental rock band Fitnes, trash metal bands Alitor and Forever Storm, as well as death metal group Dead Joker will join ranks with British punk rock legends Buzzcocks, Serbian band Ritam nereda and Slovenian group Elvis Jackson.
On the second night of the festival (June 23rd), regional stars of alternative rock Repetitor, who recently released their second album “Gde ćeš?” will play on the Garden stage, that will also see performances of a blues guitar player Ana Popović and eclectic Thievery Corporation.
Folk metal sensation Pero Defformero, cult Serbian band Bjesovi, “coprofagic” rockers Zvoncekova bilježnica, stoner grundgers Larska, punk band Pankreas and Crveni karton will play Arsenal 07 the same night, and will perform on the Garden Stage as well as previously announced Croatian folk-punkers Brkovi.
Serbian punk legends Goblins have been honoured to close Arsenal fest in the early hours of the third festival night (June 24th). They will play on the Garden stage after Kralj Čačka, Damir Urban, Rambo Amadeus, punk bands Bolesna štenad, Špajz and Raskid 13, and gothic band Electro Vampires. As previously announced, Škrtice, Skindred, Dub FX and Kanda, Kodža i Nebojša featuring Horsman Coyote will perform on the Main Stage.
Arsenal Fest is an open air event, and is held on three picturesque locations: Knežev arsenal (a former ammunition factory frm 19th century), Zastavina bašta (a colourful place full of greenery) and Čaurnice (a rustic building that is set nearby).
Arsenal Fest has a new stage this year – Demolition Stage – and 15 up-and-coming bands/musicians, selected by radio Beograd 202, RTS’s TV show Bunt and portal www.noizz.rs, will perform there.
Arsenal Fest 07 will be held on June 22nd, 23rd and 24th in Kragujevac. The ticket package (for all days of the festival) can be purchased for 2.300 RSD, and a single ticket for 1.300 RSD.
